“Made by UPM” is a series of publications in which international experts in sustainable development share methodologies and applications they have executed in past experiences, in order to provide technical assistance within emergency contexts to first responders and humanitarian organizations.
Contents in these manuals compile scientific and technical findings from UPM GmbH’s activities in China, Burkina Faso and Senegal, among other locations. During 2019 and 2020, these knowledge was transmitted to the WASH sector and local authorities in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh and also in Zahle, Lebanon.
The name “Made by UPM” was created by using the word “MADE” not only to indicate UPM GmbH’s authorship but also as acronym of “Methodologies and Application from Documented Experience”, a general description of what all these manuals will offer in common to the intended audience.
